On the agenda 3 Report on the Modules/Program for OFW

There were suggestions to look for other modules from other organization such as Familia c/o . Bro. Zoilo & Sis. Connie, Ugat c/o Bro. Gerry, CFM c/o Bro. Manny and all other programs that are available. According to Fr. Lambert, we have to experience it first, evaluate and eventually recommend.
On the agenda # 4. Presentation of Pre Marriage Module used in VOLA
Bro. Gerry Mallillin made a power point presentation of the pre cana module in their vicariate which he himself formulated. After which several comments/questions were raised.
Fr. Lambert commented that it must be spiritually filled and based on the magisterium. He also observed that the Chinese character symbol depicting Wei Ji or Chinese word for crisis may not be appropriate for non Chinese participants who are all about to enter married life.
Bro. Manny suggested that we need to have an outline on the different pre marriage program used in other vicariate. But according to Fr. Lambert, at present we will use MPP CEE, though existing pre cana in each parish will still be used until we have one standard program in the diocese.
Overall, presentation is ok and maybe next time if there are other parishes with different modules then they can also present during our meeting.
